I was writing my review on The Love Hypothesis Movie and was wondering if there is any chance of it getting a sequel because I am so obsessed with it, the casts and literally everything. And, guess what Miss Ali Hazelwood just dropped the announcement of the sequel. Yes, I am still processing and while in the process I did some digging because the anticipation is not letting me sit in peace. And, my expectations are over the roof. So, here is everything I found and you can expect too.

The Love Hypothesis Sequel continues the story of Olive Smith and Adam Carlsen, set 5 years after the first book. It will be a combination of slice-of-life moments, postdoctoral chaos and the fact of being in a long-term relationship.

Well honestly, Not a big change in their storyline (I hope plspls). So long story short we are getting more of them, living through life together, with all the STEM-nerd glee and cozy-ness of the original but a bit of drama and problems that I am sure they will get through together.

Ali Hazelwood has shared in her Instagram announcement –

“I wrote a sequel to The Love Hypothesis” is not a sentence I thought I’d say a year or so ago, but now I weirdly can’t imagine a world in which The Two-Body Problem doesn’t exist. I’m really eager to talk more about this book and how it came about in the next few months.

For now let me just say that the TLH movie and its cast made me fall for Adam and Olive all over again, that revisiting them was an absolute pleasure…” And, honestly the thoughts and feelings are the same, I really wasn’t ready to say goodbye and not see these characters again. So, Thank You Ali, I have my faith in you and I really look forward to the book.

What about The Love Hypothesis Sequel Movie – The Two-Body Problem Movie?

With book announcement Ali has also shared – “And: nothing is guaranteed, but MRC is developing a film based on the The Two-Body Problem for Amazon MGM Studios.”

And, I have been jumping with excitement ever since. I still don’t know what the book will be but I just know the movie will be best because my beloved Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman will be returning to play Olive and Adam once again. There is no official cast reveal or any details revealed. But after we read the book we can expect more hopefully.

Now, What can we expect from The Love Hypothesis Sequel Movie The Two-Body Problem by Ali Hazelwood Book?

I’ve got big expectations, like real big ones and I have been listening to Olivia Rodrigo’s expectations too for that and manifesting that the book meets those expectations and the movie also follows suit.
So, here’s my take –

  • Adam and Olive thriving in their happily ever after and tackling life problems strongly
  • Olives Mrs. evil side and more funny goofy banters
  • We will get to meet the og characters returning in the book and new ones too.
  • I really hope to see holden in the sequel movie this time
  • Hope the problems and drama involves the academics no third person or whatsoever
  • More coffee and sugary snackings
  • And, most importantly, I am already eager to know what our marketing baddie Lili Reinhart has in store for Sequel of The Love Hypothesis Movie promotions!!
