About The Devil’s Night Series by Penelope Douglas :

The Devil’s Night Series is a 5 book, dark romance, thriller and suspense series set in Penelope Douglass thunder bay which follows 4 boys who are also known as the horseman. All of them have their own book in the series and 2 extra books too, one for filling the gap for a big timeline and another to say goodbye to the series with a Christmas novella. So, the first book, Corrupt, follows Micheal and Erika.

The second book, Hideaway is about the Kai and Banks, the 3rd book, Kill switch is about Winter and Damon and the 4th one Conclave, is a short novella which is set exactly in between the events of book 3 and 4. Then the 4th book Nightfall is about the last couple, Wil and Emory. And the fifth and final book is a holiday novella which follows all the couples and wraps with their happily ever afters.

All the books are interconnected and follow the events of the previous books. Especially the first book, which is corrupt because the main event happens in this book so the rest of the books follows and heavily mention the events so it is highly recommended to by the author and her reader to read in order. But if you still want to read as standalone you can but it will spoil some but you can still enjoy the romance plot. But, I would personally recommend reading in order too.

  1. Corrupt (Devil’s Night Book #1)

And one devils night day it resulted in them getting into prison. Micheal and his friends think Erika is behind this. Who happens to be Michael’s brother’s girlfriend.

Conclave by Penelope Douglas | (Devil's Night Book #3.5)

This is the 4th book but it’s a novella that bridges the gap on book 3 and book 4, Kill Switch and Nightfall. It focuses on the timeline in book 3 when Damon disappeared and bits and pieces of Will and Emory from the fourth book. So, you can read it between reading book 3 and 4 around that time or just book 3 based on the reading order.

Here is the author note for this book :
“Please be aware it takes place between Kill Switch (Devil’s Night #3) and Nightfall (Devil’s Night #4) and is only suitable for readers 18+. Please read Corrupt, Hideaway, and Kill Switch prior to reading this novella.”

Also a little note from me : Misha and Ryen from Punk 57, another book from Penelope Douglas Thunder Bay universe appear in this book. So you can read their book too.

Nightfall by Penelope Douglas | (Devil’s Night Book #4)

Nightfall by Penelope Douglas | (Devil's Night Book #4)

The fourth book follows the final couple from the horsemen group, Will Grayson and Emory Scott. Set after the events of the previous books, the horsemen decide to take one last revenge from the girl who they blame for the devils night chaos. So, they bring Emory to the black church house.

And as the story progresses things shift differently as more long buried truths and secrets get revealed and go back and forth in the past and present and discover more about Will and Emory. This book has more details that contain major spoilers as everything is connected especially because the saga continues. So, I would recommend reading in order for the full experience.

Fire Night by Penelope Douglas | ( Devil’s Night Book 4.5 )

And the whole series wraps with this Christmas novella, fire nights which follows all the characters from the other books in the series. Set after all the books and their characters’ happy ending. After everything they have been through we finally get a sneak peak of what they are doing and what their happily ever afters are looking like with kids and other life things with festive season, laughter redemption arcs and more.
