What is Maxton Hall About ?

Maxton hall is a book trilogy set in Germany, with elite prep school vibes, class tension, forbidden romance with pure academic aesthetic. It mainly focuses on Ruby Bell and James Beaufort.

Ruby is a scholarship student at the elite private school, Maxton Hall in England. and James is an heir to a luxurious fashion brand, going to the same prestigious Maxton Hall school. Their story starts on mutual dislikes as Ruby finds out a secret about James’ family which forces her to be in James’ world, yes we also get rivals to lovers and boarding school drama for that.

And, for some certain reasons they are in forced proximity and continue working together at their schools annual gala and other events and slowly draw close to each other even though they hate each other. The book also has themes of love, hate, family dynamics, complicated relationships, social class and validations, betrayal, dark twisted secrets and more.

Season 1 follows this plot of the book and the second one follows right after the first one. And, if season 1 and 2 goes according to the book we can hope season 3 will follow book 3 plot too.

Maxton Hall Season 2 Summary and Plot :

Season 2 is a continuation of the Maxton Hall Season 2 episode 4e first season, which ended on a tragic note, as the Beaufort family was being shaken by a major tragedy and Ruby struggled to keep her world together. As Ruby lives out her dreams in Oxford, James falls into grief, self destruction and guilt.

As they slowly drift apart, more unavoidable circumstances arise and while they try to avoid each other they are yet again forced to work again in another charity gala. Season 2 explores more in the realm of healing, ambition and identity between heartbreak, friendship drama, and the pressure of the elite world of Maxton Hall.

The tragedy that happened in James’ family contributes so much to his emotional storyline.Ruby attempts to move on with her future and her heart is continuously dragging her back.More secondary characters will get more screen time, such as Lydia, Alistair and Cyril.
The mood becomes more gloomy and philosophical – less sparkle, more blossom. Her first actual love heartbreak will mark who Ruby will become in the finale.

It is based on the second book by Mona Kasten Save You that is characterized by the emotional gut punches and complicated development of relationships.
